Featured Review: (by Anonymous), These boots have all the makings of a perfect workboot, but somehow they cause near unbearable pain in my feet, even while using my custom Podiatrist-made inserts. I’ve tried these, regretably too long, I may be just beyond the warranty-return cutoff, but I’ll call and beg anyway to hopefully switch to something else. The foot pain started in the first week, and I kept thinking that my feet would adapt, but no… just pain. My shoe size is 13 medium, and these feel like a 13 wide, which may be the cause of most of this trouble. Looking at them, they are perfect, with lots of cool technology built in. But: The really cool looking, smooth pulling, lace eyelets cause heavy pressure on the tops of my foot, so that they feel bruised, even many hours after I remove the boots. The nice looking quick release eyelets at the top don’t work. They don’t allow the shoestring to exit, and they just bind and stop the shoestring from sliding through while trying to doff. They feel a bit heavy, but the weight is due to the medium-dense soles. The previous Timberland Pro’s I tried had nice soft soles, but they proved too-soft, broke down badly in 3 months, and are now discontinued. Even looking at these on my feet at this moment, I don’t understand why they are not a near perfect boot, but… Pain is very persuasive… I just ordered some “Bates® 5″ Ultra Lites™ Composite Toes”, because I’m in desperate need of less foot pain.

I work as a field tech and do tasks from construction to electrical, to extensive driving. I buy a new pair of boots every year, mainly because my employer pays for them. I have been buying Timberlands for the past 6 Years now. These boots are just as comfortable if not more then previous timberlands. I have only had them for just over a month now and I have no complaints. I think timberland boots are the best for comfort and wear and these ones are definitely on the top of the list.

I have two pairs of these boots. The break-in period was quick and painless and are surprisingly comfortable for safety boots. The boot strings wear out quickly but that is normal for work boots. Nice looking work boots that I also wear casually. I am an overhead crane operator. I sit for a living looking down. I’m not hard on shoes.

have owned 3 pairs of these boots now and find them quite comfortable for work boots especially for 12 hrs a day on a construction site. They are pretty light and fairly durable. Mine last about 9mos of daily work wear. I wish they would build a few more styles based off this design. I especially like where the top of the boot meets the ankle. Fairly comfortable insoles but custom orthodics make it much better.
